Ranger Gathering 2011

The Caribbean Link of Guiding organised a Ranger Gathering with the theme "empowering girls will change our world" from 16^th-20^th August, 2011 at De Freitas Park and Guest House, Bachus Trace, Valencia, Trinidad.  

The Rangers and Young Leaders in attendance were expected to:

• Identify and speak out on issues they care about;
• Empathize with life experiences of youth in other Caribbean territories; and
• Commit to doing an activity in their Association that will facilitate the empowerment of girls and women.

Ayana Dorsett, Naila Ferris, Shurayne Martin, Launée Richards and Jellette Bowen represented Antigua & Barbuda at this event and shared their experience with the Daily Observer (a local newspaper).  These images provided by the Caribbean Link of Guiding demonstrate their participation.
